my host is Ubuntu 9.04 and Im using Vbox OSE 2.2.4 with guest OS WinXP, i wanted to play MapleStory and SlikRoad in it but it doesn't work so I Installed WINED3D using devices then it said theres a .dll is missing for maplestory , i install that and tried again now all i get is a black screen.

Any ideas how to fix this i really want to play slikroad especially Maplestory please help!

Most if not all Windows games require DirectX to work and VBox does not support that yet. So running Windows games in windows OS in VBox will not work. Using WineD3D is a program that is installed to emulate a windows environment and that is an issue you would need to take up with them.

I think using Wine3D is Nonsense. For Games its better to use WINE directly.
