Host: Ubuntu 7.04
Guest: Windows XP Professional SP2.
Details:
- USB controller is enabled
- Setup a blank filter (to allow all USB devices through)
- When I connect my iPod I get the following error message:
From within the Ubuntu host, I have full read/write access to the iPod. I checked with an external hard drive and that's not recognized within the XP guest either, but does not provide any error message at all.Failed to attach the USB device Apple iPod [0002] to the virtual machine XP Pro.
Not permitted to open the USB device, check usbfs options.
