Guest adapter information contains unsupported type 5

I'm running a Windows 2000 guest in VB 1.5 with Kubuntu Feisty as host system. VBox.log contains the message above. Does anybody know what that means and if it implies a problem? Is it possibly related to the error message I always get in Windows: "The device, \Device\Ide\IdePort1, did not respond within the timeout period." ?
