Latest update broke shared folders

i am running 1.5.2 and am getting the error 53 shared folders not working problem. has this bug not been fixed yet. I am pretty sure I have done all the steps correctly.

I am running xp pro as guest on gutsy g host.

I don't know if this particular bug is fixed but we have still problems with Shared Folders till now.

i actually fixed the problem. I had downloaded the only version that I found online which was from google code or what not

I found the iso so I mounted that to my virtual OS and walla! I am totally hooked up.

unfortunately, I missunderstood what dynamically expanding disk meant and I am stuck with windows on a virtual 5GB drive
