weird problems in VirtualBox?

I created Vista guest and XP guest respectively, I can easily set up the static ADSL connection in Vista guest, but the same setting is not working in XP guest, what is the problem?
BTW, I executed "net use f:\\vboxsvr\sda6" to create a drive linking to partition sda6, the odd thing is that it works normally in XP guest, but every time I try to access this drive in Vista guest, Vista crashes and reboot. anyone can help, thanks!
