Black Screen Flashing Cursor at Startup - Win10 64 Bit Guest and Host

Hi - I have almost the same issue as the OP. I have a Windows 7 Pro, Build 7601, SP1 client. It runs just one program - Intuit Quickbooks 2003 (yea, yea, I know...). If I do not install Guest Additions, QB runs fine. However, after installing Guest Additions and I run any program - including any Windows utility, I get a black screen with a blinking cursor. I have to shut down the client session, go to Safe Mode, uninstall Guest Additions and then I'm back to (semi)normal. Here is my zipped log. Thanx in advance for any suggestions...

You're running 7.0.6 Virtualbox, and Guest Additions with 3D acceleration enabled.

Try running the VM with 7.0.6 GAs and 3D acceleration turned off. If that stabilizes the VM, please let us know.

Great! So this is an ongoing bug with Virtualbox 7.0, and the devs are working on it.

To help the devs, turn 3D back on, then please create a ticket in the Bugtracker with the problem description, the manufacturer and model of the host PC's graphics card, the graphics driver version (on the host OS), and a (zipped) VBox.log file.
