Windows 7 frozen

Post by Bruno von Troba »

Hello
I have the same issue with windows 7 32-bit, but this happens now on host based AMD Ryzen5 and also previously on host AMD FX-6350
The case is that W732bit hangs 2-6 times a month. Windows 10 64-bit hangs around 1 a month. Not at the same time
Is this possible, that W7 VM influences W10?

No, what happens in one VM won't affect other VMs.

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. In the "Logs" subfolder, zip the VM's "vbox.log", and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab. (Configure your host OS to show all extensions so you can find the "vbox.log", not "vbox.log.1", etc.)

Also, please don't scatter-post your question on multiple topics, it's against forum rules.
