Windows 22H2 Guest on VB v7.0.4 on Windows 22H2 Pro f. WKS freezes

Post by Nomaster »

After upgrading to VirtualBox v7.0.4 Windows 22H2 Guests also freezes randomly after installation of Guest Addons v7.0.4. The VMs run flawlessly on VB v6.1.38 with Guest AddOns v.6.1.38. My Host is a Windows 10 22H2 Pro for Workstations.

And the problems with Windows 11 - and 22H2 - Guest with VB v7.0.4 i can also confirm.

There is a bis issue with the Guest Addon v7.0.4

Regards to everybody - hopefully the issue will be fixed in a short time.

I have the same problem.
Host is Arch Linux, guest is Win11 22H2. With Guest Addition 6.1.40 it works perfectly. As soon as I upgrade to 7.0.x, the whole guest freezes after a few seconds of operating.
This is the last line in the log:
