Hi everyone, I am trying to install a windows 10 iso on vm box and everytime I try to install it my laptop gets sluggish and I get an error message which is weird because I installed server 2016 without a problem.

I assume you understand that the host OS uses some of that 8GB host RAM, the log shows you were left with 1.6GB after that. So, the max you could assign to a VM would be around 1GB, because you need to leave some working RAM. If you want to assign more RAM to a VM then you need to free up more RAM on the host, or add more RAM to the host.
