unable to install Windows 11 ARM based on Macbook Apple M1 Pro with Ventura 13.1 and using VirtualBo

Post by jaipsharma »

I'm using Macbook Apple M1 Pro with Ventura 13.1 and using VirtualBox Version 7.0.2_BETA4 r154219 (Qt6.3.0). While installing Windows11 ARM Baed ISO, I'm facing always an error asking for Mount and Retry Boot. error is "The virtual machine failed to boot. That might be caused by a missing operating system or misconfiguratioed boot order." Where as my boot order is fine and also I'm specifying the ISO from the image attached drop down option still the same error. unable to proceed further.

Please help.

The M1/M2 edition of VirtualBox is an x86 simulator. VirtualBox is not an ARM hypervisor on any platform.

And be warned, Intel versions of Windows will not work either, as the simulator is extremely basic: it can run single core non-graphical 32bit OS's very slowly.

Review the first sentence of my previous reply, because I'm not sure why it needs to be repeated.
