00:00:00.983520 VirtualBox VM 6.1.34_Ubuntu r150636 linux.amd64 (May 13 2022 07:34:48) release log
That is the Ubuntu third party build of VirtualBox, you can get support for that on the Ubuntu forums.

If you want support here then please install the official version (see the "Get VirtualBox" icon below). This is all the more important since you need 6.1.36 or later to support current Linux host kernels. I see you were already told this back in July.

mmmh... the previous post was different (and solved): it regarded a Linux guest onto a Windows host. In this case the scenario is exactly the opposite.

As well I will update this thread once I have tried the Oracle distribution

I read through this topic, and it started out talking about a BSOD during installation of a Windows 10 VM. Has this issue been solved?

NB the topic started discussing a USB problem, which has been split off, see below.

Looks like it. This printer BSOD issue is a second question.

The BSOD issue seems to be solved using the VirtualBox distributed by Oracle: currently I am running vm for hours without any crash. Probably the issue is due to the dkms kernel module configuration needed to run the Ubuntu packaged version.

For what concern the USB issue related to the scanner, do you suggest I would open a new separate thread?
