Revisit the Win 10 Pro 64-bit issue

Post by VeritasII »

Hello,
I am running Win 10 Pro (64-bit) Ver 21H2 OS Build 19044.1889. Recently updated my VN from 6.1.34 to 6.1.36. All hell broke lose when I tried installing Kali Linux W32. I finally got that figured out, then, VB says there's an update... I install 6.1.36, NOW the problem is that I'm running 64-bit! What verion VB can I install in my server that will allow me to run without issues? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what the issue is, or what we're revisiting.

You'll run 64-bit Virtualbox on 64-bit Windows. No problem there. (In fact, all Virtualbox installers from at least 6.1 possibly 6.0 are only 64-bit now.)

It's perfectly OK to run 32-bit VMs in 64-bit Virtualbox. Running 128-bit might be a problem, though... :D

Can you please explain the issue more?
