XP Guest - Can't get rid of display scroll bar

Post by lamikam »

Running 6.1.32 r149290 (Qt5.6.2) on Windows 10 Enterprise. The Guest is XP SP3. Using VBoxVGA display option. The horizontal scaling is fine, but there is a scroll bar vertically that I cannot seem to fix. Any suggestions? Let me know if I need to upload and log/config files. Thanks

That's automatic. The virtual screen size is bigger vertically than the VM window size.

Install Guest Additions in the VM OS. XP VMs also need you to disconnect the virtual network "cable" so the XP installer system doesn't lock up for ten minutes during the install.
