I have windows 11 current update installed on my host. I have windows 10 stalled on my guest.
Recently the Win 10 guest has started freezing and restarting randomly. I see others have had similar issues.
To trouble shoot, I removed and reinstalled my host video driver.
Removed and reinstalled my host VirtualBox installation.
I recreated a new Windows 10 guest
I am still having the same problem.
One thing I noticed, the new VirtualBox win 10 guest has a resolution issue. Before I had this rebooting problem, my existing Win 10 Guests had a resolution of 1020 x 1080. Now, on the new win 10 guests, I cannot set that high a resolution.
Also, my old Win 10 Guest (before the reboot problem) is also randomly rebooting.
Can you help?
thanks

Re: win 10 Guest Freezing and rebooting randomly
Pick one VM that exhibits this problem.
Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
