Mounted ISO Keeps Asking For CD Drive

Post by Mitch_083 »

Hi Everyone,

I just installed Windows 98SE via VirtualBox on my Windows 10 Laptop.
I am trying to run an old game called Gazillionaire. I mounted the ISO into Windows 98 which I can see and click in the Windows Guest, however I get an error message once the program starts indicating it cannot read from the CDROM and to select the correct CDROM Drive.

From what I can see, the mounted image is on Drive D: which I have selected in the game, however it doesn't seem to know that D: is where it needs to be reading from.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!

The first thing I would do is make sure that the Live CD option is selected for the CD drive in the vm.
