Good day all,
I ran into a challenge today. So I a have my Windows Server 2016 set up and Client OS. Now I want to join the client VM to the server, after accepting the domain name, then the domain credentials, the VM will do as though it's loading then return: The following error occurred attempting to join the domain: The network path was not found.

Re: The Network Path Was Not Found
You'll need the correct type of network between the client and the server. See Virtualbox Networks: In Pictures
Are both server and client VMs? And is internet required? Are other computers on the LAN also supposed to join the server's domain?
For each VM involved, please right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. Zip the VM's .vbox file (not the .vbox-prev file), and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab. (Configure your host OS to show all extensions if the folder that opens does not show a .vbox file.)
