VirtualBox is quite compatible with Windows 11. It is running fine on lots of PCs, including mine, so there is nothing to fix!

What you will need to do is find out what is different about your PC which is causing the problem.

We should not have to disable security features, such as Core Isolation Memory, in order to run an application. Having been attacked by viruses, I am justifiably paranoid. Since Hyper-V manages to run properly as an app, with Isolation turned on, Virtualbox should also.

That is the goal toward which the devs press. Knowing the difference between Hyper-V and Virtualbox (think hypervisor type) can explain why many folks' computers have to disable Hyper-V-based services such as some of the security services, to get Virtualbox to run.

But that is not the end game, and the many folks who got tripped up on 6.1.28's bug demonstrate that 6.1.26 was running on many folks' Hyper-V-enabled PCs.

So give the devs time, Windows 11 and Hyper-V and Virtualbox will coexist peacefully one day. And then 12 will come out...
