Hi,
I use a lot of Win7-64b VM on laptop DELL W10-64b.
All VM are so slow.
Hyper-V is disable on host W10.
On host W7:
- PAE/NX is activated
- VT-x/AMD-x is activated
- 6 cores are activated at 100% power allocated
- 23616 mo memory allocated.
How to solve it ?
Thank you very much for your help.

Please provide a VM log file. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

You're running at full HD without accelerated graphics. Try enabling 2D and 3D acceleration.
23GB RAM seems like a lot to give to a VM?

With 3D activated it's not faster...

Please post a new log, so we can see if 3D has been activated in the VM.

Re: W7+64b gest : so slow on W10-64 host
You seem to have maxed out VM cores, leaving nothing for the host. That was not part of the instructions.
To cut the inevitable comeback short: threads are not cores. According to Intel your CPU has 6 cores. 2 cores to the VM is usually ideal, and you already had that.
Once that's fixed I suggest you look at the task list for the guest OS, to see what's hogging CPU or I/O.

6 cores was a over test... But With 2 cores it's little better...

Do you have so-called security software (e.g. Anti-virus) installed on the host? If yes, for a test, uninstall it, reboot the host, and see if the problem persists.
