I recently started using VirtualBox, and while I enjoy it, I can't get over how slow my vm is. I have tried everything that I found on other formus so please if someone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

Reduce processors to 2 as a test, and pull back RAM so the VM's RAM is not so closely slid up to the available host RAM. Try 8GB.
