Hi all,
I got prompted that there is a new version of Vbox. I have a few questions:
1. Is it worth updating? What are the benefits?
2. Is there a way to initiate the download to just update my existing VBOX instead
of downloading the new version? I just want to keep it simple if possible.
Thanks!

Re: New Version....Benefit of Updating?
New versions generally are good, occasionally not. 6.1.20 had some regressions the devs are trying to fix.
I run on the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" paradigm on the hosts I have to keep running, and upgrade on my experiment host.
Virtualbox only provides full versions, not patches.

Thanks Scott. I'm in the same boat. So the new version isn't absolutely necessary?scottgus1 wrote:New versions generally are good, occasionally not. 6.1.20 had some regressions the devs are trying to fix.

Look at the changelog, that will tell what the update has for bug fixes and new features, if any.
