[Solved] Windows 8.1 driver install required?
My host OS is MX Linux 19.4, and my guest OS is Windows 8.1, normally when I install my Windows 8.1 OS as standalone or in a dual boot, I'll need to install the manufacturer's drivers after installing the OS, in a VM environment, do I need to do that? I'm guessing not, since my Linux host has all the required drivers loaded, new to VM, thought it better asking than be sorry later.

Re: Windows 8.1 driver install required?
If you chose the Windows 8.1 template when you created the VM, then all of the VM hardware is supported natively by the guest OS: no additional hardware drivers required.
You should however install the Guest Additions to get better graphics - I'm aware that you already created a topic for that.
