Hi!
I created a ubuntu linux headless host with the intention to replace some physical win 10 guests. After a few weeks I'm doing fine, but I have some minor problems and questions, to which i didn't find any answer.
Situation:
Host: Ubuntu Linux Focal, without GUI.
VirtualBox: 6.1.16, from official distribution
Guests: Windows 10 Pro 20H2
Clients: DELL Wyse 5100 and Win 10 Remote Desktop (mstsc.exe), rdp connection, natnetworking
In Attachment is a showvminfo from one of the clients
Questions:
1. Does somebody have a tip to optimize hardware for windows 10 (s. attachment)
2. I want to get usb drive/stick to passtrough from rdp client to guest. I have same settings in client working on physical Windows 10, but I don't get it done.
3. I become sound, but it breaks down every bit of a second. Video stops also for a bit of a second. I've tried different settings on vrde, video and sound without success. I tried also ac97 and have always the same issue.
I belive that it has something with a hardware settings of a guests to do, and I would appreciate if somebody has a working guest hardware info for a start.
Thanks in advance,
Dino
