I am afraid that I cannot re-upload older logs and screenshots as I have already deleted these.

I'm afraid there's nothing else we can do, then. Unless you can get new logs...

I am attaching a new log...

I left Windows Explorer open in Windows 10 and the VirtualboxVM window to the foreground and I was interacting with the latest Brave browser in the Ubuntu.

This one's a puzzle. The log from here viewtopic.php?p=536400#p536400 showed a guru meditation at 10 1/3 hours of operation, after half hour with no log activity (though no log activity doesn't mean the VM wasn't being used):
00:00:02.534222 VirtualBox VM 7.0.8 r156879 linux.amd64 (Apr 17 2023 18:04:45) release log
...
09:52:54.205602 Shared Clipboard: Signalling host about guest clipboard data failed with VERR_NOT_FOUND
10:20:42.583372 Changing the VM state from 'RUNNING' to 'GURU_MEDITATION'
The latest log shows a revert back to the Ubuntu fork and about a minute between logged events and the guru meditation:
00:00:02.462555 VirtualBox VM 6.1.38_Ubuntu r153438 linux.amd64 (Sep 7 2022 11:18:57) release log
...
00:12:55.428388 Changing the VM state from 'RUNNING' to 'GURU_MEDITATION'
I'm not sure if the fork has anything to do with it.

Have you tried to get new Windows media and try a new VM?

By getting a new Windows media, you mean I have to install Windows again to a new virtual machine? That sounds like my data will be erased or backup etc...

I just had a new critical error with Guru. This happened after I opened my laptop lid and booted Ubuntu from the hibernation. I have set my laptop to hibernate when I close the lid of laptop. I did the latter before.

I cannot click on "OK" as the dialogue suggests as the Ubuntu's dialogue about an unresponsive software (i.e. Virtualbox) keeps reappearing.

I just had a new guru meditation error. This happened when I selected the text as seen on the screenshot ("Bovin" and "veis").

I am also attaching the log.

Sorry, missed this before. "New Windows media" means download the Windows ISO again. Install it in a new VM. Since the VM for this test is new, the old VM remains, so, no, your data in the old VM will not be erased.

The intent is to determine if the problem is in the Virtualbox host "hardware", or in the OS inside the existing VM. If the new VM is stable and the old VM guru meditates, then the old VM's OS has a problem in it, not Virtualbox.

*****************
In both logs above, the guru meditated some minutes after the previous recorded log line. Tis may mean that it's not Virtualbox doing something wrong, but the OS inside the VM. I may be wrong, though.

By "the Windows ISO", do you mean the latest Windows 10 Home from Microsoft or the virtual .iso I used to install the present one?

I have had no time to deal with the .iso but I got another Guru Meditation today.

I had only Virtualbox and the latest stable Brave (a tab where I played music from https://www.mixcloud.com/listentoflow/flow-538-290124) open.

Bushido, your images aren't coming through. Please use the Attachments tab to post images like you did at the beginning of this topic.

Per the usual, the guru meditation came out of the blue, with no other Virtualbox activity in the log for some time.

There is suspicion that the OS inside the VM is the cause of the meditation, not Virtualbox. A new VM can demonstrate this.

There is no need to post more guru meditations. Find time to make a new VM with a new ISO per the instructions above and see how it behaves. (Approximate time required, given a decent internet connection, a couple hours to make the VM. It has been 188 days since the suggestion to make a new VM was given. You must be burn-out-ready busy.....)

After the installation of Windows 11 Home N, I got the attached error during the restore of my settings of Windows 10. After clicking OK, the restore continued and completed successfully.
