Hi
short description:
Win 10 Guest on Win 11 Host: nodragdrop noshared drive
Unshure if vbox additions are correctly installed
once tried after startup via menu and the guest screen got larger to the desired size.
But no dragndrop possible in any direction no shared drive visible in guest
tried to alter settings and save again in VBoxmanager
tried to install guest additiioons manually/ stalls the win10 vm near the end of the installation always.
Configured for vm:
6 cores, 16GB RAM, 256mb vram, 3d Acc enabled
bidirectional dragndrop, 1 shared drive
unchanged since upgrade from 6.1.19 or so...
Hardware: Amd 5600x cpu, 48gb ram, rtx2070
Hint: no dragndrop also on linux mint guest, but drive sharing does work on this guest (2 cores,16gb ram)
Many thanx in advance
Msalu

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. In the "Logs" subfolder, zip the VM's "vbox.log", and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
