Nested virtualization with Hyper-V
Nested virtualization with Hyper-V
Is it possible to run Windows Server machine with Hyper-V hypervisor? I've got error that cpu doesn't support SLAT (it's Intel Xeon).

Re: Nested virtualization with Hyper-V
VirtualBox 6.1.x (and earlier) do not support Hyper-V as a nested hypervisor, because they do not provide SLAT/EPT to the guest OS.

Will it be possible in near future?

Re: Nested virtualization with Hyper-V
These are user to user discussion forums. We rarely have any idea what features VirtualBox will have in future. Official policy thus far is that the only officially supported nested hypervisor scenario will always be VirtualBox within VirtualBox, since that's the only scenario that's completely with the devs control. As usual, "not supported" does not mean that other scenarios will definitely not work.

I amended my previous post, since I meant "do not support" in the stronger sense of "definitely".
