I'm running a Windows XP guest on a Windows 7 host. I originally had the network on the guest set to "NAT" but the DOS program I use was giving errors due to an unstable network connection. I switched to "Bridged" and all is fine except the host loses network connection when the VM is powered off. This won't work as I need to access this PC remotely and cannot rely on VirtualBox staying open all of the time. Any ideas?
I should note that the DOS program I use on XP accesses a network drive to function properly thus a stable network connection is imperative.

Re: Host loses network connectivity when VM is shut down
We'd need a VM log of a relevant session. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
