[quote="johnma"]Same Qt startup issue on dev builds 99 and 100. 5.0.20 and 5.0.21-107750 don't
fail on startup.

Beta 2 fixes the startup problems on dev builds.

installing beta2 and running:

Code: Select all

VBoxManage setextradata global GUI/PreventBetaWarning "5.1.0_BETA2"
makes beta2 work for me on debian stretch

I couldnt install the latest Ubuntu v16.04 in VirtualBox v5.0.20. Neither could I install Ubuntu on Windows 10. Can someone confirm you can install Ubuntu v16.04 in VirtualbBox beta 2?

The problem is that when I use a dynamic disk, the Ubuntu installer says "can not proceed with installation because your disk size is only 4.2MB, you need at least 7GB disk space"
