[Solved] Slower Boot Times All Guests 5.0b*
I've noticed slower guest boot times for all guests with all hosts (OSX, Linux,Windows). Is that because there is embedded debugging code, the new scaling feature or something else? It's not terribly slow but it is noticeable.

Slower boot times in comparison with 5.0 Beta 1 or in comparison with 4.3.26? Are you sure that you always test the very same VM configuration? To answer your question, I'm not aware of any additional debug code.

In comparison with 4.3.26. I'm running the same guests. Okay Thanks.

Re: Slower Boot Times All Guests 5.0b*
thinking on it a few, it seems more noticeable on my OSX host than the Linux or Windows host. Maybe the guest is stalling a little trying to get the drag n drop code to load which doesn't work on OSX. teasing
Just to be clear, the difference is only the start times. once the guests are running they seem normal.
edit: It could be because my main OSX host I test on is the fastest PC I have and any delay seems noticeable. Somewhat like when you upgrade a PC to a faster PC then have to go back. The drop in speed seems larger than the increase.

As it turns out. It was an OSX developer seed issue. I just installed a new seed and not only is it back to normal, it may be even faster.
