For a long time ejecting an .iso was not working correctly on my Mac. It's seems to be fixed now.

thanks.

Apparently I spoke too soon. It seems only certain guests eject .isos properly.

I don't think there was a related change in 4.3.14 RC1. Is there a related bug report?

I filed one months ago and I believe it is still open. I can go look for the ticket if you want.

Right now I have no idea and this is not a regression, so at the moment less important. Yes, I know this is annoying but there are many other problems with a higher priority.

it's not that big of a deal. I've lived with it for this long. It's just a minor annoyance when you restart a guest and the guest additions .iso that you ejected before you shut the guest down, mounts itself again.

I keep forgetting to mention, a quirk is, if the VB GUI is open and you open the storage tab, the .iso unmounts itself then. otherwise it just remains attached.
