Icon in Dock won't close

I uninstalled via uninstall script
Installed without extensions....windows XP 64 bit on MacOS X (Mavericks) host
Quit Fine
Installed Extensions, and the guest won't quit without brute force shutdown
Same problem as in the ticket
Its not fixed!!!!!!!!!!!

Went through the installation regime on ticket #12241 (v. 4.3.59) (last post)
with worse success - vbox without extensions didn't quit after power off state in guest

1. Uninstalled everything, restarted host
2. Installed v.4.3.8
3. Installed Extensions
4. Restarted
5. Disabled USB 2.0 Controller

Works fine....

it seems that the USB 2.0 Controller, is not releasing Something or looking for something
and when a force quit results, it won't quit.
