[SOLVED] Sun Storage VirtualBox and New Beta1/Beta2

Host: Mac OS X 10.6.2
VirtualBox: 3.1.0_BETA1, BETA2 (not important)
Guest: Sun Storage VirtualBox (http://www.sun.com/storage/disk_systems ... ources.jsp)

Problem 1: never boot, stalled with (open)solaris banner. VBox.log from 3.1.0BETA1 (beta2 - the same) attached, already attached VBox.log from 3.0.12 - works perfectly - but nothing strange in logs:

boot Fishworks appliance with kernel args -av for more verbose - not booting, stalled at Solaris Banner.

Problem 2:
Can't import OVF while trying to import Sun Storage VirtualBox appliance:

Again - everything works perfectly with 3.0.12 version.

One of our customer has same experience with Windows host (not confirmed, no logs, no screenshots, just short phone conversation) VBox 3.1.0_BETA2.

The import failure and slowness during boot is solved in beta 3. The guest crash can be avoided by a workaround:

VBoxManage setextradata <VM name> "VBoxInternal/Devices/ahci/0/Config/UseAsyncInterfaceIfAvailable" 0

We'll fix the crash for the final release of course.

Thank you! Everything like you told to me - OVF imported fine, booting very fast (as usual), workaround applied - root mounted successfully.
