That's right, it should always work, no matter whether guest os [additions] are loaded or not.

I think this need at least one more beta, or the release may be a disaster of guest bsods, snapshots problems, etc...

I have a similar feeling, like Entity.

So do I, I rather see another beta than having a final with more regressions and less stable than the beta. That happened before, I hate to see it again.

Serious Problem !
Delete VM with Branched Snapshots: (this VM is corrupted, and states cannot be removed and cannot be restored -- I would like to remove it from database)
As someone already pointed out:

There is no way to delete VM with many branched snapshots. Please add it. (even if snapshots damaged, and some VDIs no longer exist, etc..) Everything must be deleted cleanly from VBox database.

Just to clarify: are you talking about the problem in your previous post or about VM crashes on saved state save/restore with enabled 2D mentioned earlier?

This has *nothing* to do with 2D.

This is wish to delete VM along with whole tree of branched snapshots. I consider this wish *critical* for users, that consider working with branched snapshots.

The problem I have now is:
Windows XP VM, with several live snapshots got corrupted data. Since I am unable to reproduce the data corruption bug, I don't open it. (happened in BETA2)

Moreover, I cannot delete this VM now. (both BETA2 and BETA3)

I really want to get rid of the VM (and all it's branched snapshots) from VBox database. (preferably without reformatting the Host)

But other VMs with branched snapshots (not corrupted) cannot be deleted either !

The only way I see to get this done, is a rather ugly method. Remove them from the system manually, by opening the file browser and remove the VM from there, edit VB.xml and remove the VM registration info. The GUI should provide this, a lot of users don't want to mess with editing xml files and some might even break other VMs that way.
