[Solved] not CPU hardware virtualization

for 3.1.0 beta (OSE) permanently not CPU hardware virtualization
only messages:

Failed to start the virtual machine virdeb64.
VD: error -37 opening image file '/mnt/add/hddv/virdeb64.vdi' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).
VT-x is not available. (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).

Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)

Are you 100% sure that it's enabled in your BIOS? I have a 64 bit VM and it's running fine, no errors whatsoever. This is with an Intel P8700 CPU with VT-x enabled in the BIOS.

I reported the same issue in another thread which was ignored :(

More specifically, my computer is AMD CPU and AMD-V is enabled and works fine with older version of VirtualBox.

You're saying you used the OSE, that means you compiled it yourself. Maybe you made a mistake somewhere? Grab the pre-compiled PUEL one and use that, it shouldn't give you this error.

The VBox.log of the session will tell us exactly why.

HV in BIOS is enable/active

this 2 files log is last (today) build from svn version 3.1.0 beta OSE

The first log shows AMD-V is working properly. The 2nd one shows that somebody is using it (KVM?).
