How to format a virtual disk presented to SOLARIS-11-x86

How to format a virtual disk scsi and sata created in oracle virtual-box 5.2 presented to SOLARIS-10-x86 operating system?

I am working of oracle virtual-box 5.2 and guest vm is solaris-10-x86
Is there any restriction in solaris-10-x86.
if so i can migrate to solaris-11-x86

Formatting a disk is a guest OS software operation, nothing to do with VirtualBox, which only provides the (virtual) hardware.

If you need to continue this discussion then provide a VM log. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
