Greetings all,

I am getting QXcbConnection errors on Sol 11.3 VB 5.1.6 r110634. This of course prevents windows that open from being able to display. I am accessing the VB console instance with X11. All other X-windows pass correctly. Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated so I do not have to drop back a version on VB.

I was able to successfully run VBox on Solaris 11.2 and 11.3.
Could you please let me know more details about what exactly are you doing? Are you using VBox over ssh connection to a solaris host? What was the last working VBox version for you?

Thank you for looking into this. Yes, I am ssh-ing into the system and X11 forwarding the VBox console. The last version that I seem to be able to forward correctly is 5.0.26 r108824

Could you give more information as to what error you get?

And also paste the output of "echo $DISPLAY" once you ssh into the box with X11 forwarding.
