Hello,

Is there any way we can either compile Virtualbox from sources or use pre-built packages to install it on Open Solaris distributions such as OpenIndiana or OmniOS ?

I haven't tried it (downloading as we "write"), but wouldn't the Solaris distribution work on OpenIndiana? Sorry if it sounds naive, but isn't OpenIndiana based on Solaris foundations?

It will finish downloading in an hour (no jokes about my download speed please), plus another one or so for installation, so I'll be back with the results. Man, I just realized I've never had a Solaris-based guest before. I guess it's never too late...
