Windows 2012 R2 hangs after 5 -10 min. on Virtualbox 4.3.20

If I assign the VM more than five CPU stops the VM: it is not possible to enter the console and the VM is no longer reachable over the network. After a while in vbox.log you find such messages:
00:54:22.334213 ERROR [COM]: aRC=VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80bb0005) aIID={480b372c-c0b5-4c23-9bd7-dcbb85b1594c} aComponent={Display} aText={Could not take a screenshot (VERR_TRY_AGAIN)}, preserve=false

In the Windows VM are set the Power Options to "maximum performance" and the screen timeout to "never". But this didn't help.

Does anyone have any idea or experience with W2K12?

You might want to upgrade to 4.3.22 as well.

The log file is uploaded. Tomorrow I'll try to update to the latest version of VBox. But I am not sure if this is successful. Even with version 4.3.18 the problem existed.
If there is a fundamental problem? What's behind the message "ERROR [COM]: ArC = VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR ..."?

AFAIK that is really a warning and not so much an error. I do know that there were issues with previous versions and guests hangs.

That warning is just about the GUI window wanting to take a screenshot to update it's little preview window. You won't get the warning if you close the GUI window, but in any case it doesn't mean anything by itself except that the guest failed to respond.

One thing that series of warnings does tell you is that the VM host process was still running, right up to the moment the log was captured. So, whatever the hang is, it seems to be happening inside the guest.

@Perryg: You were right: since updating to 4.3.22 the problem no longer exist. Is was a good tip! Which issues are in the former versions that can cause such a problem?

There were some regressions due to new code changes that caused your problem and later fixed.
