Reboot multihead fullscreen on another workspace

Post by martyscholes »

Before I open a bug, can anyone reproduce what I am seeing?

Steps:
1. Open a multihead, fullscreen guest on a workspace
2. Move to another workspace
3. Reboot the guest (a Windows update will cause this)
4. Notice that the guest's second monitor is now fullscreen on the second head of the current workspace, occluding whatever was there before

I have seen it with 64 bit Windows 7 and 64 bit Ubuntu, but curiously it does not happen with 32 bit XP. This has been an issue for many years and is more annoying than a problem, but I suspect the VB developers are not aware of it.

Can anyone reproduce this?

Thanks,
Marty
