Hello Forum,
I'm running the latest version of Virtualbox 4.2.10 on my Solaris 11u1 installation, but I'm facing strange problems.
When I create a Virtualbox Box VM for Ubuntu 64 Bit, it only boots to the grub menu where I can choose keyboard mapping and language, if I then press return the screen remains black. Load of VBox process occupies one cpu core completely. It just remains hanging there.
Anybody facing a similar problem?

Hello,
did some further research, also the current version of debian testing hangs after the grub menu.

The strange thing, a windows 7 vm 64 bit is the only os that is booting and running fine.tcs: Fast TSC calibration failed
