Virtual box with Vista snapsot on openSolaris fails

I get the following error, and i am unable to use Virtualbox


Could not load the settings file '/root/.VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml'.
Premature end of data in tag VirtualBox line 3.
Location: '/root/.VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml', line 62 (3), column 81.

VirtualBox.xml is a text file. It may be possible to fix it with a text editor.

Can you post its content ? At least the lines around line 62.

Another point, don't run a desktop environment and applications as root. This is defeating Unix security model.

I managed to solve the problem by hand editing the XML file
But I still have it as root , which is bad ..changing the file ownership and getting to work with other user.
