I just installed VirtualBox 4.1.6 on a Solaris 10 U10 machine. While attempting to install the extension pack 4.1.6, the vbox gui crashes with a "Memory fault".
To reproduce, run /opt/VirtualBox/VirtualBox. In the gui, click on File / Preferences. The gui crashes. Back to 4.1.4. Anyone else see this?

Make sure you installed the *fixed* version of VirtualBox http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualb ... nOS.tar.gz

I am downloading it now. What do you mean by "fixed" version? What has been fixed and why is it not on the download page?
The "fixed" version fixed the crash. I would like to know what the fix was.

The first release had an error. They released a fixed version on the same day. Some got the first one and had the issue you described.
