guest XP usb fails

Postby alland » 30. Mar 2011, 10:47

I'm using Solaris 5.11(snv_134b i86pc i386 i86pc) as a host VirtualBox 4.04 r70112 with extension pack installed. I installed XP as a guest work great. The only problem is the USB devices won't work. When I install Vbox I think it said I need a revsion level 150 or higher. I assume that would be Solaris 11 express. I thought the extension pack would solve this problem. Anyone know a solution to this problem?

Check viewtopic.php?f=24&t=8669 or Chapter 3.10 USB support in your VirtualBox users manual.

Solaris snv_124 or higher is sufficient for USB support.

You'll have to elaborate what is it you mean by "won't work".
