So, I've been trying to get the Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure working on my Solaris 11 Express box, and after much tweaking and whatnot to get logged in and such, I've reached another brickwall that I can't find information about.
At the point where it attempts to verify the server, (which I have to do without SSL) I get a java socket timeout error. In the log file for VirtualBox I can see it receiving the request, but it seems to be queued or something (I can't find the line at the moment). Any ideas on why this may be?
I'm using the VDI 3.2.2 (http://wikis.sun.com/display/VDI3dot2/) and VBox 4.0.2 (it didn't work with the recommended 3.1.2 or whatever either)
I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but I suspect the issue I'm having is a VirtualBox issue not an Oracle VDI one (but it could be I guess).
Thank you in advance!

Re: Oracle VDI + VBox Webservice
Well, there's a new version of VirtualBox out. That may be worth trying.
And why does Oracle have to monotonously, compulsively insert its name into the name of every product it controls? Even IBM and Microsoft didn't do that.
