Error VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_BUSY [Solved]

Post by treno »

Hi all, i am trying to run two guests (Linux RedHat4 and W2003) on a Oracle X4750 box with Solaris10/VirtualBox 4.0.

I configured VMs for using a bridged NIC bound to igb0 physical interface.
Now the problem: i can run only one VM, because, when i start the second, i have the following error:

Error: failed to start machine. Error message: Failed to open/create the internal network 'HostInterfaceNetworking-igb0' (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_BUSY).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_BUSY)

Trying to immagine what the error means (not too much documentation), i suppose that there is a limitation/bug when more than one VM try to use the same physical interface in bridged mode.

Anybody had the same problem? Is there any work around?

Tank you for any help.

Updated VirtualBox to 4.0.2. That fixed the problem! :D
