Adding additional virtaul storage

Post by mikejd42 »

I need to add additional virtual storage to my OpenSolaris VM. I can find no way to do create vdi devices and add them to the config. Everytime I attempt to use the add device it picks the next one from my default directory and does not give me any options as to which one to take. I also can not find a way to create new vdi devices

The IDE chain is limited to a certain restriction just like real computers. If you need more you will need to add additional controllers and more than likely use SATA. This is all explained in your VirtualBox users manual.
