first and foremost to all the vbox devs.... great work on virtualbox for opensolaris... life on opensolaris would not be the same without it ... THANX!
now, herein lies the rub....
how is work going with getting usb mic and usb webcams going on opensolaris.... skype under virtual windows would push vbox into the league of being a "serial killer ap" for opensolaris.
ta

Skype works under OpenSolaris
You can get skype under OpenSolaris here
http://imo.im/
Use latest flash v10.1 which is released for OpenSolaris, and go to that webpage. And then you can skype freely without problems.

uh, flash doesn't find video camera and voice call quality is too bad.
virtualbox seems real solid so I it makes sense to have skype as a supported application.

umm, can you believe it, ie8 bust my printer so I think we can call that one resolved.
shame nobody wants to talk about webcam/usb improvements. seems as a shroud of silence has covered the whole opensolaris development world ever since oracle seized power

looks like opensolaris's death is imminent ...

can't see why it would be worthwhile for the devs to be hacking out any more improvements
so long and thanks
