VBox 5.1 configure fails on Qt5

Yes, it was multilib, and finally I have completed the 5.1.8 build. For the record, in case anyone stumbles on this post in the future, I took the following steps to move my Ubuntu 14 based VirtualBox build environment from 5.0.2 to 5.1.8 (tarballs)

• Added the Qt5 PPA to my system per instructions here https://launchpad.net/~beineri/+archive ... 532-trusty and then installed all the packages listed there with apt-get.
• Installed g++-4.9 per instructions here http://askubuntu.com/questions/428198/g ... -on-ubuntu and then updated the /usr/bin links to point at 4.9 versions.
• Installed the g++-4.9-multilib package.
• Ran ./configure --with-qt-dir=/opt/qt53

There you go! Glad you figured it out. I thought it must be multi lib but since I compile everything myself and build my actual OS from pretty much scratch I was not absolutely sure.

As a side note I have been to Lake Tahoe. Nice!
