I am trying to build a debug version of VirtualBox 4.3.28 on Centos 7 machine. I followed the instructions given on the VirtualBox wiki and build it successfully. But now when I am trying to load VM's into it, they would not load giving me error : Failed to open session for the virtual machine <name of vm>. Couldn not launch a process for the machine <name of vm> (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND).

In the details section:
Result code: VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80BB0005)

When I try to load the same VM in the VirtualBox installed directly (without build), everything works fine.

Please help

Is the path set correctly in the preference section in the VBox main manager?
Also did you first remove the installed version of VBox? You can not run both.

I did not remove the installed version of Vbox. I thought I might run both on the same machine. I guess that is the problem.
