Hi,
Can you create a socket from the virtual device code ( eg. DevAHCI.cpp) into any application running on the host OS or for that matter any application running on the Guest OS on the virtualbox?

Actually this would be the right place so the other topic has been deleted.
But you would need input from the DEVs on this one. You can either wait until they drop by or you can ask on the DEV list.
