Hi,
I have version 3_2_10_OSE_r66253 64-bit version, running on Debian6 64-bit. I have a WinXP guest that was installed on 32-bit Debian6, that run, but now I have upgraded to 64-bit Debian, I can't run the saved machine
It displays error :
Unsupported version 13 of data unit 'pgm' (instance #1, pass 0xffffffff) (VERR_SSM_UNSUPPORTED_DATA_UNIT_VERSION).
with details :
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: Console
Interface: IConsole {6375231a-c17c-464b-92cb-ae9e128d71c3}
Is there a way to resurrect this machine, or must I delete and start again?
Ian

Re: 64-bit issue
32 bit should work but you need to make sure that io apic is turned off.
If it is/was on this forces Windows to try to use the 64 bit/smp kernel and cause issues. you can try Halu to change the kernel if you want to try to force the smp kernel.
One other thing. If it was saved and not shut down you will need to discard the saved state. Not too sure that it will work due to it not being shut down first but it does not hurt to try.

Re: 64-bit issue
Cheers, that worked a treat
I didn't have io Apic turned on anyway
